So what does it mean to build things that iterate things that last? In my view, it means to be and to seek out and to create your highest ideals. You're going to die, your genetics and certainly your politics, or that's all going to dissipate. But if you can be excellent and admirable, and you can surround your family with other with other families who are excellent and admirable, then your highest ideals, your deepest loves can literally come to life in your children and your grandchildren. And they can't be this can't be like a sort of passive um potter and clay situation.
These are these are people who are going to have to be people. They're gonna have to co-create with you. They're gonna have to join in this work of cultivation. Because they're gonna have to, number one, they have to cultivate themselves, and then they're gonna have to cultivate their children. And so again, it's it's it's it's not about yourself, it's about these higher things that you're aiming at and that are instinctive and intrinsic to you. And then those things being instantiated and expressed in your children. So the project is human cultivation.
You cultivate yourself, you have to be aspirational to your kids, to your to your wife or to your to your future wife. I mean, the fact that becoming aspirational so that you can attract an aspirational spouse is like this enormously important thing to this project. So that's why we have the fitness call, that's why we have the fatherhood call. We even have like intermittent like interviews with like style and aesthetics guys, like talking about how do you make the world beautiful around you, how do you uh you know dress well, look good, etc. Uh you have to cultivate, so you have to cultivate yourself, you have to cultivate your kids, give them opportunities to learn, experience beauty, develop character, connect with good mentors and rivals, and then eventually spouses.
