It's actually quite modern um it's only about a century old and uh it's pretty unnatural and it's pretty unhappy. And number one, you know, your family should be multi-generational. You should you should kind of have access to your aunts and uncles and grandmas and cousins and everybody that uh that that makes that not lonely. Um and you should also be, you know, surrounded by other people doing the same thing. I I've I've had the experience of of my wife doing many of the same sort of ordinary things. She's she's a stay-at-home mom, doing many of the same ordinary things that she would do during the day, but but we're hanging out with uh some friends, and so they're doing the various chores together, and it's just night and day uh the emotional valence of that and the way that that's experienced.
And I don't think like there's not gonna be any way to do this, um with um half the population being desperately unhappy about it. Like you're gonna have to make it uh livable, and I think a huge amount of that is building um community among women. So that I like yes, the the the homeschool co-ops and uh you know get getting your kids out of government school, that's really important. Um but I think probably even more important than what it does for the kids, is what it does uh for the moms.
